Feeding Therapy Services
Assessment:
- Comprehensive functional feeding assessment
- Assessment of oral structures, orientation, and function
- Referrals for additional evaluation when indicated (i.e., swallow study, tongue tie assessment, etc.)
Treatment:
- Bottle-feeding difficulties
- Reflux management
- Oral motor weakness, dyscoordination, or delayed progression of skills
- Oral aversion
- Poor weight gain and "failure to thrive"
- Breastfeeding and lactation
- Avoidance or refusal of solids
- Restricted acceptance
